This is such a great great place to stay for a few nights. The hotel is located next to a lovely park and in walking distance to most major Madrid attractions. It borders a lovely neighborhood that offers good restaurants and pleasant evening walks. The hotel's roof deck restaurant/plunge pool offers some nice views and a quiet place for good food. It was not cheap but worthwhile given the views and ambiance. The beds were awesome and the bedding even nicer. The windows were impressively insulated as we heard no traffic from the major road below. And most impressive of all was the super quiet, nonintrusive air conditioning. I wish American hotels would learn from this setup. The hotel staff was impressively professional. There is pricey public parking available nearby, which is convenient enough if one does not have to schlepp too much luggage.

Really nice staff - they couldnt do enough for us. Breakfast was excellent - I rarely enjoy breakfasts abroad but this had practically everything; scrambled and fried eggs, bacon, sasages (spanish types but very nice) potatoes, ospanish omlete, cheese, ham, salami, a few types of bread, fruit, toast, butter, jam marmalade, cereals, various milk, cream, 3 capuccino/latte/coffee machines. Evening food was tapas Bar type but it was excellent, the teenagers with us loved it and we ate there 2 out of our 4 evenings. Fabulous roof-top bar Hotel is across the road from an excellent large park with lots to do there, botanical gardens about 15min walk away..., an underground station two minutes away, restaurants across the road, cafes, ice cream parlour, supermarkets ... everything you need.

Stefano

the hotel was modern and incredibly clean, luxurious throughout. Located close to the Metro meaning travel was very simple. Our room had no view as we had an internal facing room but it also meant the room was cool - 41 degree heat outside so no complaints from us! The room also had shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer, all toiletry requirements (razor/comb/toothbrush etc) - really handy for anyone who forgot these items!

Nicola

Fairly typical 4 star city hotel. Room was on the small side but perfectly functional. We had a balcony with ours which made it feel much more spacious. Rooftop bar was nice to have. Situated near Retiro Park and Salamanca district which suited us, but a distance from the more touristy areas.

Susan

Reception was well received. Spacious room. Very clean and neat. Excellent location, close to all amenities and attractions. Breathtaking view over Madrid from the swimming pool and restaurant area on roof terrace. Breakfast is well catered for diverse groups.
